-Bring photos of hair and makeup styles you like to provide visual guidance for the artists. Bonus points if photos are obtained from the induvial artist(s) page.
-If something feels uncomfortable during the styling process, communicate with your artists. They will make adjustments to ensure your comfort.
-Wear a white or light-colored outfit to get a better idea of how the makeup will look against your chosen wedding attire.
-Clearly communicate your preferences and expectations with your hair and makeup artist during the trial.
-Schedule the trial on a day when you have other wedding-related appointments or events. This way, you can see how the hair and makeup hold up throughout the day.
-Bring any accessories you plan to wear on the wedding day, such as a veil or hairpieces.
-Inquire about touch-up techniques and products to use on the wedding day. Understand how to maintain the look throughout the event.
What to NOT do:

-Avoid skipping the trial. It's crucial to test the chosen styles and ensure you're comfortable with the look.
-Avoid experimenting with drastic hair color changes close to the trial. Stick to a color you're comfortable with.
-Don't forget to take photos of the trial from different angles. This helps you review the look and make any necessary adjustments.
-Avoid rushing through the appointment. Give yourself enough time to discuss details and make adjustments as needed.
-Don't forget to assess the comfort of the hairstyle and makeup. Make sure you feel at ease with the chosen look.
-Don't overlook the details. Pay attention to smaller elements, such as the finish of the makeup and the intricacies of the hairstyle.
-Limit the number of people accompanying you. Too many opinions can create confusion and stress.
For the wedding

-Don't try any new skincare or makeup products about 3 months before the wedding day to prevent potential allergic reactions or break outs.
-Don't arrive with wet or dirty hair, as it can affect the way the hairstyle will hold and appear as well as result in additional time delays.
-Trust your hired professionals and avoid micromanaging. Provide input during the trial, but on the wedding day, allow them to work and have a desigated person to deal with all other issues - your wedding day you should be able to sit back and relax!
-Avoid excessive tanning close to the wedding day, as it can affect the way makeup looks on your skin. (We recommend to avoid the face)
-Don't steam dresses right after hair or makeup - have a designated group to steam prior to getting any hair or makeup services!
-Don't forget to eat - eat a light meal before the session to avoid feeling lightheaded or fatigued during the process.
-Avoid using your phone during services, as it can impact the application of your hair and makeup and potentially leading to extended times with the artists.
-Avoid scheduling your hair and makeup at the same time your photographer or other vendors arrive. They may pull you away for questions or discussions, causing delays and disrupting the schedule with the hair and makeup artists.
