BRIDAL STUDIO USE AGREEMENT

This agreement is made between:

Business Name: Blush Beauty
Studio Owner/Artist: Kara Howard

AND
Client/Bride: Hannah Halfmann

Event Date: 09/05/2025
Time of Use: 7:45am to 11:45am
Location: 1111 Godfrey Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Purpose

This agreement grants the Client and her bridal party access to the designated makeup studio space (“The Pink Room”) for the purpose of getting ready on the morning of the above-stated event date, including hair and makeup services to be provided by Blush Beauty.

Space Usage

Only the Pink Makeup Room is owned and operated by Blush Beauty.
The remaining areas of the studio are designated as "Boudoir x Alyssa" spaces and may be used with permission from the photographer, provided they are not in use by her clients.
Furniture in shared spaces may not be moved or used (this includes sitting, placing belongings, or leaning on the furniture).
Mirrors in the space are props only—no sprays (e.g. hairspray, setting spray) are to be used near or around them.

Occupancy Limit

Due to limited seating, a maximum of 8 individuals may be in the studio at one time.
It is the responsibility of the Client to manage the number of guests present to maintain comfort and comply with space limits.

Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited within the studio:

Smoking or vaping of any kind
Outside food (due to hygiene and cleaning concerns)
Open drink containers (all drinks must have secure lids)
Personal grooming activities not performed by the artist(s), such as but not limited to:
- Painting nails
- Self-applied makeup or hair styling
- Use of hot tools (curling irons, straighteners) by guests
Trying on or handling studio props, costumes, or wardrobe items

Cleanliness and Damages

All trash and personal items must be removed before leaving the studio.
Trash bags are not provided—please bring your own if needed.
In the event of spills, damages, or excessive mess, a cleaning fee of up to $150 will be charged to the Client’s card on file.
Any damage to studio property, props, or furniture may result in additional repair or replacement fees.

Responsibility & Liability

The Client assumes full responsibility for her guests and any damage or violations caused by them.
Blush Beauty is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
Use of the studio space is granted at the discretion of the artist and may be revoked in case of policy violations without refund.
Please note that the studio does not have designated space for hanging or storing dresses, gowns, or garments.
Dresses should not be hung on furniture, door frames, mirrors, or props.

Arrival & Access

The studio will be accessible beginning at 7:40am.
Early arrival is not permitted unless previously arranged.
The Client is responsible for ensuring that all members of the party arrive and depart on time.

Parking

Parking is available behind the building or on the street. Blush Beauty is not responsible for any tickets, towing, or issues related to parking.

Photography Policy

Photos are welcome, but please do not move, sit, or use furniture, props, or decor for any purposes.

Children & Pets

Due to safety and studio limitations, no unsupervised children or pets are allowed in the studio.
Children must remain seated and under adult supervision at all times.

Emergency Contacts / Safety

The studio complies with safety guidelines and is not liable for accidents caused by misuse of space or violation of posted rules.

Studio Surveillance

For security purposes, the studio is equipped with surveillance in common areas (not bathrooms or changing areas).
By entering the studio, you consent to video monitoring in shared areas.

Agreement Acknowledgment

By signing below, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined above and accepts responsibility for compliance by all members of their party.
