Hair and Makeup Artist Contract for Styled Shoots

 

1. Parties Involved:

 

This Contract (the "Agreement") 

 

Hair and Makeup Artist: Blush Beauty

Client/Organizer: 

 

2. Services:

 

The Hair and Makeup Artist agrees to provide hair and makeup services for the styled shoot described below:

3. Services Provided:

 

The Hair and Makeup Artist agrees to provide the following services:

 

Hair styling and/or makeup application for

4. Usage Rights:

 

The Client/Organizer agrees to provide the Hair and Makeup Artist with high-quality images from the styled shoot at least 2 months after the shoot for portfolio and promotional use. The images may be used on the Hair and Makeup Artist's website, social media, and other promotional materials.

 

5. Compensation:

 

As this is an unpaid styled shoot, no monetary compensation will be provided to the Hair and Makeup Artist. Both parties acknowledge that this collaboration is for portfolio-building purposes.

The organizer acknowledges that for any travel required by the hair and/or makeup artist outside of Grand Rapids, MI, a fee of $0.95 per mile will be applicable for both the outbound and return journeys.

6. Agreement Termination:

 

Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing 15 days written notice to the other party. Termination should be communicated in writing via email.

 

7. Image Delivery:

 

The Client/Organizer agrees to provide the Hair and Makeup Artist with the high-resolution images within 8 weeks after the styled shoot.

 

12. Late Arrival Fee:

 

In the event that any model participating in the styled shoot arrives more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled hair and makeup appointment, the Hair and Makeup Artist reserves the right to charge a late arrival fee of $25. This fee is intended to compensate for the time lost due to the delay.

 

13. Changes to Artist's Work:

 

a. Client-Requested Changes:

 

If the client, model, or photographer requests changes to the hair and makeup artist's work after the initial styling and application are complete, the Hair and Makeup Artist reserves the right to charge an additional fee for special occasion services.

b. Fee Determination:

 

The special occasion service fee will be determined based on the extent of the changes requested and the additional time and products required to accommodate those changes.

 

c. Approval of Changes:

 

Any changes to the artist's work must be approved by the Hair and Makeup Artist before implementation. The Hair and Makeup Artist retains creative control and the right to ensure that any changes align with their professional standards.

 

14. Payment for Additional Services:

 

Any fees incurred due to late arrivals/no-shows or changes to the artist's work will be invoiced by the Hair and Makeup Artist to the Client/Organizer and are due for payment within 7 days of receiving the invoice.

 

10. Governing Law:

 

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your State/Country].
